5 out of 5 starsI watched my neighbors 150-year-old farmhouse be surgically disassembled preserving flooring and floor beams to repurpose by the owner and was in awe as I watched their new home be constructed. As I watched the framers erect the house in 2 days, I had to meet the builder. I walked up and asked who I thought was the Forman leading the job site and I was shaking Matt Self's hand. As a military man, I was witnessing leadership from the front. This is when I knew I wanted LegaSea Construction handling a very complicated remodel of my home. Matt and his company made the impossible, "Possible." Carefully keeping an eye on the weather during the rainy month of March, Matt and his team of no less than 10 skilled craftsmen, removed the entire front half of the roof on our home by lunch time on the first day (exposing our home to the elements). By the end of the first day, 500 sqft of new home was framed out and covered by tarp. By the end of day 2, we had our cathedral roof erected and the entire project covered with sheathing. By the end of day 4, LegaSea Construction had shingles on the new construction. I can't be any more impressed with Matt and his team with his "hands on" leadership, customer satisfaction, open and direct communication, skill sets/capabilities, and the friendliness of his team. Important to us all, Matt's pricing is very fair, especially for the quality you receive. Matt would always check in with me every morning and ask me what I think and do I have any concerns. My answer was always, "I am riding on the LegaSea Train, and I'm having a great ride!" I have been recommending Matt Self and LegaSea Construction to all my friends. See more See less
